The outstanding ****hotel “die Hindenburg” in the centre of Saalfelden excels through its
style and historic charm. The traditional flair of the main wing, which is a protected building,
combined with state-of-the-art technology guarantees a very special holiday in a unique
atmosphere.
The Hindenburg is a historically rich building, constructed in the fifteenth century. It first
opened its tavern doors to paying guests in 1901. Ever since it has regularly been renovated,
expanded and refurbished.
The latest major renovations took place in 2017 and, according to our guests, the idea of combining traditional and contemporary styles was very successfully put into practice. The renovation also included a redefined concept and has changed the hotel’s category to a hotel garni in the ****sector. In all, the hotel offers 52 rooms and 6 apartments. Its very central location makes it a popular meeting spot for local guests, holiday makers as well as businessmen and seminar groups.
The traditional house full of life shines in new splendor. In 2018 the Hindenburg apartments / holiday flats were completed.
